Let me start by saying, I love my teeth. I'm very glad I have them. I'm glad that Big Sister has teeth too. But right now, teeth are causing major drama in our house. Evie has been working on getting a few teeth for a while now, but we seem to have hit the worst of it for this round of teething. (Dear Lord, Please let this be the worst of it!)
She's pretty happy considering, but she has been extra clingy, whiny and chewy (perhaps not the right choice of words... she's not chewy, she's chewing...on everything)! I went to take the trash out, she whined, "No. Mama. No." Tim got ready to leave for work, she shrieked and cried and generally threw a fit. I asked Tim if it was "Take Your Toddler to Work Day." He said it wasn't. In fact, he claims that such a day doesn't exist. It should.
And so here I am with a fussy toddler, her teeth, and a 3-month-old, pretending that I have hope of getting anything accomplished today. But wait! I did brew some iced tea! Yup, it brewed all over the kitchen counter!! This, folks, is what we call living the dream!

Family Update
Here's an update of what's going on with our family:
Little Sister: She's now 3 months old and growing like a weed! Her favorites include: eating, sleeping, playing on her activity mat, waving her arms and legs around randomly, smiling at her parents, and sucking on her fingers.
Big Sister: She just turned 2 and loves to tell you about it (if you can understand what she's trying to say). Her favorites include: playing with her babies, loving on Little Sister, singing (especially Itsy Bitsy Spider, Wheels on the Bus, and ABCs), reading, playing in the water/bath, saying 'no', protesting nap time, watching Super Why and Curious George, and playing with her toys.
Carolyn: I'm busy being a stay at home mom. I enjoy hanging out with Tim and the girls, doing crafty things, working on house projects, and reading.
Tim: Tim's enjoying his job as a pharmacist designing and implementing electronic medical records. He spends his free time hanging out with me and the girls, reading, working on projects around the house, and doing computer stuff that I don't understand.
I'm hoping to have time to work on several projects that I can share soon, including baby shower decorations for my SIL's shower, turning Epi's old room into Big Sister's bedroom, and maybe working on some art work. Stay tuned!

Greetings!
Hello! Welcome to This Everyday Adventure! I'm hoping to use this blog as a way to keep friends and family updated on our life. I may also post some of my crafty-type projects (if I get time to do any with two little ones!). Occasionally, I may even have some deep thoughts to share. We'll see what happens!
